Añjali = “offering”, “to honour or celebrate” / Mudra = “seal”, “sign”. In Añjali Mudra, the hands are held together over the chest, often accompanied by the word “Namaste” as a respectful salutation meaning: “I bow to the divinity within you from the divinity within me.” The Lotus Flower symbolizes the journey of the soul through the realization of the material world to be one with the supreme soul.
